PostgreSQL connecting error on MAC
"psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory".
Today, I tried to connect to the PostgreSQL server on my Macbook Pro, using the PhpPgAdmin administration tool, but the authentication failed with every attempt i made. This seemed strange to me and I restarted the database server from the terminal.
I tried to access with my credentials few more times, but the problem continued. Then, I tried to access directly from the terminal, to rule out that it was a problem with the administration tool.
HTTP 404 error code
"Its importance resides in the correct dissemination of its information".
This error code means "not found" and is the response delivered by a web server when it cannot locate the resource requested by a client. The requested resource would be a web address and the client could be a web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, etc.
An improper administration for this code can drastically affects the positioning of our website, causing it to be less and less relevant to the search terms that interest us.
Let’s Encrypt Certbot error on Amazon EC2
"ImportError: No module named cryptography".
I suppose that you came to my website, because you are the manager of an Amazon EC2 instance and you are triying to create, extend and / or renew a free SSL certificate, through the Let's Encrypt service, with the “certbot-auto” command, but you got the annoying error related with the missing "cryptography" module. I have also suffered frequently with this issue, until I found the solution that I will explain here.
I will assume that you know the basics about the Let's Encrypt service. As you know, this service is marked in experimental mode for the Amazon Linux 2 version, known as AMI (Amazon Machine Image). This Linux version has been modified to optimize performance in a EC2 instance and its integration with the AWS (Amazon Web Service).
Google Adsense and Flashtalking error
"From Malware to a certificated service provider".
Some days ago, I have been working on a new version of one of my websites, updating the utilitary libraries, modifying the file structure to make it more efficient, etc. This work can be arduous, if it impacts the source code core, forcing you to be very careful.
I have been developing software for more than 15 years and I always worry for the source code to have no errors. But, I was finishing to update the site when an error appeared at the presentation tier, which I had never seen before.
Macbook Pro black window
"A black screen and an endless wait".
A few days ago, my MacBook Pro computer could not be restarted or turned off, because it was stuck on a black screen with the active cursor, but without the possibility of performing any action other than pressing the power button for a few seconds to force the computer shutdown.
I did read some articles and forums on internet indicating that the process to try to close some applications would take about 20 to 30 minutes. However, there was no success after overnight waiting for the end of the shutdown process.
